My name is Jamil Halaby and I am a wedding photographer from the Bay Area, California, photographing in a photojournalism approach.
My love for photography began as a child when my father gave me an old Nikon Nikkormat film camera. He was a photography enthusiast and took joy in capturing every moment. He was seldom seen without his camera at his hip. His passion was contagious and I found myself following in his footsteps. With a large family and larger social community, the opportunities to photograph precious moments were numerous. My eye for detail coupled with my desire to capture the emotion of the moment allows me to create a lasting reflection of your special day.
